ZED Digital Be In Be Out Ticketing solution ZIG was awarded Ticketing Technology of the Year, in the Digital Transport Ticketing Global Conference held in London, England on June 28 and 29 2022. This prestigious award is highly coveted and ZED was selected as winner among a dozen shortlisted companies.

The award aims to selects the best ticketing technologies each year that are set to transform and disrupt ticketing as we know it.

ZIG is the first be-in-be-out ticketing solution to be successfully implemented in transit agencies. This Internet of Things sensors with a mobile app offers ticketless ticketing and completely streamlines the mobile ticketing purchase and boarding process for riders. 

It enables users to pay for transit fares and board buses with the phone in their pockets. In addition, the solution provides a real-time view of the crowding on buses on rider smartphones. It provides riders with a line-up-free, touchless, and hands-free boarding onto transit buses.

ZED Digital had previously been selected as finalist for this award in 2021. This is the second year ZED has been nominated to the awards.
