Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) announced the selection of ZED Digital as their digital agency tasked with the complete makeover of COTA.com. ZED Digital will work closely with COTA to innovate and redesign the end-user experience to aid commuters better utilize COTA’s transit options in the city of Columbus.

COTA aims to offer just as stellar an experience online as they already do on their buses. In addition, ZED Digital will work with COTA to provide ZED’s award winning data aggregation platform, which will deliver real-time transit data to cota.com with bus schedules, real-time bus position and anticipated delays to COTA users.
ZED will also integrate its website personalization technology which will allow transit users to customize their travel based on their habits, lifestyle, activities, and individual preferences.
ZED’s commitment to efficiency means that the technologies will run smoothly in high-volume situations and provide the most reliable and up-to-date information. With this project, ZED will demonstrate their ability to pull information that is normally buried within sites or databases into one real-time interface that creates meaningful experiences for each rider.
The new public facing website is scheduled to be launched in fall of 2017.
